I love Adam Sandlers Christmas song about Hanukkah! It's one of my favorites. I smile the whole time it's playing! It cracks me up. I have a couple of friends who are Jewish, so to you, here you go! Your very own Hanukkah song. And happy Hanukkah to you and Merry Christmas to everyone else!

Holiday Highlight
Sandra, Carter, Jeff , Me, RJ, Jamie, Brian, Sandi, and in front, Jenae & Ryan.
I love this dinner because I get to use my china and my fun napkin rings and my puter and all my stuff that I just don't use everyday. We had a nice dinner and then played some games.
We did a white elephant gift exchange. Here is Ryan with his brand new jock strap!

Hugo got a spiffy parrott iron on. He'll definately have to put that on a sweatshirt and wear it around this winter season.
Me with my new hat from DI and some cuff links which were actually really nice....Jeff WILL be wearing those!
Then we played this game where I cut some holes in a shower curtain and the guys had to stick their nose through and we had to guess who it belonged to. ...Ya know, when you've been married to someone for 13 years, you'd think that you would have their nose down, but this was a little harder than it looked!
Then we had a banana eating contest. Only this contest had a little twist. They had to eat the bananas with a nylon on their heads. It was SOOOOOOOO funny!!!!! Poor Ryan could not even hardly stop laughing to eat the banana!

Sidney's 9th Birthday Party
Well I finally had Sidney's party. Better late than never huh! We had an art party. It turned out to be a bit more than I could chew, but was really cute. Her invitations were paint palettes. They opened up and all of the info was on the inside.
I bought skirt purses and some fabric paint so the girls could paint on their purses. They turned out really cute. They came up with some good ideas.
Then we had body art. In other words....we did press on tatoos.
The girls held a paper plate on top of their heads and had to draw self portraits. Head, face, hair, body....they were soo funny. We also did 2 more crafts. They made picture frames and little heart shaped jewelry holders. They mod podged paper on them and put some embollishments on them. We were also going to play pictionary but totally ran out of time.
I made cupcakes to look like the invites. Just like a painters palette! Pretty cute huh?

Why Some Women Stay Single!
My friend Ann sent me this email a few months ago and I have laughed and laughed and laughed! I am posting some of the pictures. If you want to see the whole email, let me know and I'll forward you all of them. They are soooo funny!
I'm starting off with my favorite!
And my second favorite is this one. This bat man made this himself I'm sure and he is so proud of himself. Look at his knees! I don't know why they crack me up so much. Look at his shoes with no socks!?

This Star Wars dork probably made this himself too. Doesn't this make you want to run out and find a man of your very own?
Hello? He looks like he is squeezing his cheeks to make them look cuter in the picture. And sad thing is that this guy is so for real. He is in a public place!
To those of you who may be realted to one of these men.......I can't even apoligize for putting them on here. All I can say is that I'm sorry you are realted!

Cancun
The week after Jeff and Sid got home, Jeff and I went to Cancun with Jesse and Lisa for 5 days. Jeff and Jesse did a lot of work, but Lisa and I had a great time!
We stayed at the LaBlanc. This is a view of 2 of the pools out my window
and a view of the ocean out my window.
And here is a view of the pool in the front of the hotel. We would sit by the pool and waiters would bring us drinks, towels and food. It was Wonderful!
And my FAVORITE part of the trip was this DELICIOUS ice cream! They had hazelnut ice cream, so yummy! But my favorite was cocoanut ice cream. It was sooo good. For those of you who have ever drank cocoanut milk, you know how good it is. Well this tasted just like frozen cocoanut milk. I had it for every meal! I also had chips, beans and guacamole for just about every meal too. I couldn't wait to come home and have a salad with Ranch dressing!

Jeff and Sidney's trip to Baltimore
Jeff had to do some business in Maryland. He was going to be gone over his birthday again. Since he and Sid have b-days 1 day apart, he decided to take her along with him. Travis and Gracie came too. They had a great week seeing amazing places. They weren't allowed to take a picture of the White House because of ... something ... I don't remember. But they had a great time.

The Twilight Movie is almost here!
With the Twilight movie about to be released, I thought I would post some pictures of my Breaking Dawn party that my friends and I put on. I love this picture. It is the perfect "twilight" shot.
Since Edward and Bella get married in Breaking Dawn, we decided to throw a wedding reception themed party. It could have not turned out more perfect!
We spent months sewing, shopping, printing shirts etc. We made a little store that you couldn't buy from, but you could win these prizes. We played several different games to win.
My friend Shasta owns a quilt shop so she and her friends made the most amazing gifts. They made darling aprons, purses and throw pillows! And the grand prize, dun, dun, dun, 3 hand made quilts!!! They looked soo great!
Seeing as how I can't sew (thankfully), I did the shopping! I bought some picture frames and typed up some of my favorite quotes from the previous 3 books to put in the frames. I bought some neat vases and Shasta & I also bought some pretty bracelets and watches. Melanie and her friends bought some t-shirts and printed some fun sayings on them.
We even had Bella's truck! How cool is that! My friend Melanie actually drew this Breaking Dawn sign! She is so amazing.
Melanie, myself and Shasta
We had clothing requirements of red, black and white. (We made all the decorations in those colors too) Here I am with 2 of my sisters in law. Julie and Suzi.
We served white cheesecake with red strawberry sauce. We had red punch, and had all kinds of red, white and black candies.
One of the lucky winners. She won 1 of the 3 quilts.
So Melanie is back at it again. Having a CRAZY life and always staying busy is just her. She rented out an entire thearte for the Twilight movie. She even got a PREMIERE! How cool is that! So we'll acutally be able to see it on Nov. 20th! At 7pm! She called a couple of us friends to see if we had people who would be interested in going ... duh! Of course I do! So after I sold 94 tickets to my friends to go, I realize I WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO GO MYSELF! I'll be out of town! I'll just have to see it later :( and then buy the DVD. I still might have to post some pictures of it, considering the work I went to!
