Sidney's Friends

The other night Sidney's friends were over and Jeff happened to overhear them all talking about how in just a few short months there were all going to be going sepreate ways and they were wondering where on earth the time had gone and how it had all happened so fast.  Jeff slipped in Sidney's room and took a picture of them.  I have really grown to love all of these kids and as excited as I am to see them become great adults - I have to admit that I am really going to miss all of them!

Happy Thanksgiving 2017

We hosted the Jensen side on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.  Everyone's families came except Glen's.  It was great having everyone over.  (Jorgen and Kell and Kenzie missed too)  We had delicious food and great company.  After dinner we played Telestrations and laughed our butts off!

For Thanksgiving we went to Duane and Julies house.  Everyone was there and we had the most delicious food!  They are all such great cooks!

Molly's 5th Grade Wax Museum

My FINAL 5ht grade Wax Museum!  Miss Molly picked to be Julia Child.  She loved learning about her, reading her books, watching her old cooking shows and talking in a weird voice like her!  I searched and searched for a wig that was cut into a grandma style shampoo set but every single one of them were gray and we needed it to be brown.  So I just ended up doing her hair in a bun with some big pincurls.  It turned out cute!

Molly went above and beyond on her report.  She had learned so much information about her life and had written such a big report that we really had to cut it down for her one minute speech.  She did such a good job and it was fun to see the other kids too!

Kiwanis Club Award Recipient

I'm super proud of Sidney for receiving an award from the Kiwanis Club.  There were only 8 students from each school chosen.  Four boys and four girls.  Not only was Sidney a recipient, so were some of her best friends.  I'm so grateful that my kids have had the influence of good kids in their life, and that they've also BEEN that good influence.  Along with this award came a small scholarship!  Way to go Sid - you are a go getter and I can't wait to see what you do with your life!

Happy Halloween 2017!

These guys went to a super fun costume party at Bryce Carson's great big ol' house in West Mountain.  There were TONS of kids there from 3 different schools.  They had a dance party complete with a mechanical bull and karaoke.  They had a blast!

I originally ordered this dress for Sidney to wear to Homecoming her sophomore year.  But once it came, she didn't love it near enough to wear to a dance and quite frankly, it was TOO SHORT for her to wear!  I was always planning on sending it back but I never got around to it.  But it worked out perfectly for her angel costume!  We bought her these gorgeous wings and a halo and she looked stunning.

I normally take pictures of them trick or treating around but I went down to see Larry and LeAnn's new house and Sidney was supposed to -- but she dropped the ball and didn't!

BUT I did get a picture of the super cute cookies that Suzanna brought to the party!
