We took Sidney and her friends to Lake Powell as their senior trip. We all had a complete blast! We rented a 75 foot houseboat with a hot tub, slide off the back, flat screen tv, 5 private cabins and two tables that made into beds. The boys slept up top and the girls down below along with the adults. Jeff drove it like a champ through the canyons and parked it in a perfect spot up the canyon next to an area to cliff jump. We, meaning an adult couple along with 4 kids, each took a day and were in charge of preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the clean up that went with it. After our day was over, we just relaxed and let the next guy do it. It was so nice. We played cards in the air conditioned boat, swam in the channel, boated on Bill and Holly's Biefuss's boat and rode the jet ski. The kids had one last hurrah with each other before each of them go their separate ways to college and on missions. We laughed, played, swam, sunbaked, took trips into the marina for ice cream and laughed some more!

These kids have all been the best of friends since junior high when they all met. They have each others backs and love each other. I couldn't be more happy that they were all of part of Sidney's life and I'll forever be grateful for the influence that they had on each other. I'm really going to miss them!
