November 2-6, 2021
We took all the kids (minus Sid & Jack who had JUST returned from Hawaii) along with my mom, Jeff's mom and Cade's girlfriend Halle to Disneyland. We had so much fun! We stayed at the Marriott on Harbor and Convention Way. We rented the grandma's scooters. Everyday we would drive / walk the block down to the park and play all day! My mom and Jeff's mom both hadn't been there in years so it was super fun for them. We hit it just after all the Halloween had been taken down but before all the Christmas decor was up so that was a bummer. But it was still decorated cute. We had great weather too. Cade was most looking forward to the new Star Wars Land that just opened up this year. I'm not a Star Wars fan and have never watched the movies, and that land was still super impressive to me. The detail that Disney pays is unreal. He bought a new light saber and that was his highlight! My highlight was when we were somehow able to jump on Thunder Mountain Railroad RIGHT as it opened back up from being shut down for a bit. Somehow we were lucky enough to get a Disney worker who put the grandma's on and let me and Jeff ride in the back. We had the whole train to ourselves! I laughed SOOOO hard watching my mom ride that ride, haha! I loved the memories made.
