Fall Break 2019

I wanted to go to St. George for fall break with the girls while the boys went hunting, but Sid and Alex had to work and school. So we decided to do a stay-cation. I took Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off of work so that was GREAT!  On Wednesday I got my hair colored.  YAY!!! On Thursday, Oct 17th we went to Hoogle Zoo. It was super fun! Cade and I hadn't been to the zoo in years and Molly hadn’t been since she was in 1st grade (6 years ago) so it was fun to go!

On Friday, Oct 18th we went to Rowley’s Red Barn. Just me, Molly & Ellie. We had fun on the zip line, shooting the apple cannon, going down the slides and wandering through the corn maze. We happened upon one of Sidney’s Instagram famous favorite people - Cake by Courtney. We were on the same wagon ride back to the barn as her. I said, “ok you’re Cake by Courtney” and she was totally sweet! I told her Sid was a fan. That she owned some of her cake decorating stuff and made her cakes all the time. I showed her pictures of some of the cakes she’s made and Courtney was like, “let’s FaceTime her!” So we did. Sidney about died! It made her day! We ended the day at the barn with apple cider donuts and an apple float.

On Saturday Oct 19th the boys left the house at 7:00am to go hunting, Jens had his deer shot by 7:20am and it was gutted, down the mountain and to the butchers by 8:00am!!  He was beyond thrilled!

On Sunday, Oct 20th we took family pictures.  We took some in our backyard first with little Millie, then we headed up Provo Canyon to take the rest.  Grandma Gloria met us afterwards at Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  All in all it was a fun break!

Mr Cade’s first date HOMECOMING

Mr Cade had his first date and he was so excited! He asked one of his best friends, Halle Lyman, hoping to ease some of the nervousness. They both looked beautiful 😍
I was in scotland and not able to be there but I got lots of pictures from Jeff. Jeff was the true hero of the night because he played host to 20 kids. He set the house up and cooked their dinner. He can’t seem to hardly boil water on his own if I’m around, but if I’m not, he’s Martha Stewart and Gordon Ramsey rolled into one body 😂 He’d have made them  proud! 😂 then the kids came back to our house after the dance to play games like corn hole and ping pong and roared s’mores out by the fire. All in all, it was a fantastic night!
