We decided to spend the Memorial Day weekend in Park City this year. We stayed at Summit Marriott and had a great time! Nate & Kate drove up for the day and met up with us. We went to dinner together at Davanza's Pizza & More. Then hung out at the pool. We watched movies and ate ice cream.
The was so much run off and all the streams were flowing heavily.
We walked up and down Main Street and rode the trolley too. We wandered through the shops, ate lunch & gelato and did a little shopping.
We spent lots of time in the pool and hot tubs and made s'mores.
Only downfall of the trip was that my car got broken into. I didn't lock the door, so there was no damage done. And I keep nothing of value in there as well, so that was a good thing. The only thing that was just taken were my garage door, remotes, and my back scratcher, which was super random!
The perpetrator broke in at 1:20 AM and was arrested by 1:50 AM. They had him on camera in the garage. Apparently he broke into multiple cars and got booked into the Summit County Jail. 😅
We checked out Monday morning and headed back home. Our kids all went to great grandma Higgy's party at aunt Jill's house while Jeff and I went and decorated graves with my mom, Brent, Roze and Mandy. Then we ended the night by meeting up at Duane's grave with all the family to laugh and reminisce. It was a great weekend!
