Halloween 2015

October 31, 2015 - - - - An EPIC day to remember for sure!  It was crazy busy and filled with events that will mark their place in our family history.  We started out our day with a photo shoot that Suzanna did with all the little girls.  She had them all dressed up like witches and they loved every single minute of the spotlight.  Then we traveled to SLC to Highland High School for what would be Jens' final time to take the football field.  It was a state playoff game for us and the sun was shining bright and the weather was perfect.  Our boys played their hearts out but the scoreboard just didn't reflect it.  We ended up loosing to the Highland Rams and being disqualified from going any further in the football season.  It would be the last time my baby boy would take the field, wearing jersey #63.  I have absolutely enjoyed watching him play every minute of every game in every sport his entire life.  I love the decision that I made nearly 18 years ago to become a mother.  That decision has changed me forever.  It has given my life purpose and joy beyond description.  After the game, we all waited outside the locker room for the boys to come out.  Tears were shed and hugs were given to all of them.  They have all had each others backs for years.  I've watched each of them grow up - grow stronger - and grow together.

Then we raced down to Sam and Whitney's house for our annual Halloween party and trick or treating.  Molly was the cutest little bumble bee this year!

 

And Cade was a faceless creature.  I thought the costume was scary and yucky and he was THRILLED!  It included a knife and he was happy.  I wanted him to be a a tiger or a puppy or something cuter..... but he reminded me that he was 12 years old after all and not a baby anymore.

Addison was a witch and Ellie was a devil.

After the Halloween party was over -  -  - we made our way up to our new house to start moving in!  We had passed our final inspection and it was move in day!  Who cares if it was after 8:30pm  ---  We had a home again!!!!!
