Christmas time in THE BIG APPLE!

What an unbelievably fun trip!  I have been to New York many times but I have never been there at Christmas time and I've always wanted to see it.  So that was my present this year.  To see New York all decked out for the holidays.  Our neighbors Brad and Shannon came along with us too and we seriously had so much fun!  We took an early 8:00am flight on Thursday, December 7th.  That way we would have the day there.  We got settled into our hotel rooms and then went to dinner at the Brooklyn Diner.  Then we wandered around Times Square for awhile before heading off to see the Rockettes perform at Radio City Music Hall.  I was completely expecting to see a big ol' kick like dance for the whole time and boy was I surprised!  It was an incredible show!  They incorporated all aspects of everything from the Nutcracker to the Christmas story - reading it right from the Bible - complete with live camels and donkeys!  It was seriously the best show!  On our way back to our hotel after the show was over, we went to Rockerfeller Center and saw the tree!  YAY!  I couldn't believe that I had kicked two things off my bucket list in one evening!  Seeing the Rockettes and the tree!  Sak's on 5th Avenue was right there and their windows were amazing.  They were doing a tribute to Snow White because it was her 70th birthday.  They looked like they were straight out of Disneyland.

The next day Jeff had to be on some business calls for a few hours so I went with Brad and Shannon to Rockerfeller Center again to go to to the "Top of the Rock"  69 floors up and we had an incredible view of the city and Central Park.
