Mr. Scott’s High School Graduation

Wednesday, May 25, 2022

Cade had his graduation at UVU in Orem.  Ironically, the baseball team was playing at the same time in the state championship game, at UVU, just like they did when Jens graduated.  All of Cade's best buddies are on the team to we didn't get pictures with them.  As soon as the ceremony ended, we all walked out and watched Salem Hills win and go on to play in another couple rounds before loosing out.  We had a big family BBQ for Cade a couple days later.

A Flower for You 💕🌼

Last week, 15 year old Molly and I took Millie on a walk around the neighborhood. Molly spotted a dandelion growing, bent down, picked it and gave it to me. It’s been a few years since my kiddos have PICKED a flower for me. My heart was so happy. Wondering if this sadly might be the last time my babies are small enough to see a flower and pick it for me, I made her take a picture of her handing it to me. The greatest gift and honor has been to be called a mom.

Sissy

This girl of my has literally stayed the same. The lines and the little mole on her neck. The bridge of her nose. The inner part of her eyebrows, her flawless, porcelain skin….. Little girl Sidney is still the same. She is still the most beautiful girl inside and out.

Wisdom Teeth

Caden got his wisdom teeth taken out last Friday, May 6th. I took some really funny videos of him that have made us laugh so hard! I also took some pictures that I got of his many facials. He was cracking me up!

Senior Prom for Mr. Scott

Code Black takes Pensacola by Storm

Molly and I had the most fun week in Alabama and Florida!  We flew out on Wed. April 27th and flew back home Monday, May 2nd.  Her cheer team went to Pensacola, FL to compete in a nationals competition. They competed against teams from all over the south.  And her team placed FIRST!!!  They did so good!  They won the coolest rings too.  The girls were really excited to get them.  We stayed in a big condo in Orange Beach, AL with several other cheer moms and cheerleaders.   We had the best group of people and had tons of fun together.  We laughed so hard!  We spent a couple days at the beach and a couple days at the pools and a couple days at the competition.   The beaches were absolutely incredible.  The sand was white and soft.  It was the best!

We met up with other friends and went to dinner at fun places.  Some of my favorite places that we ate were Flounders in Pensacola, FL, and Lamberts up in Foley, AL.  Lamberts was a very traditional southern style cooking restaurant.  You would order your meal and it came with two sides.  Then you also got what they call "pass arounds".  Pass arounds are extra sides that the servers bring to you by carrying pots or other containers of fried okra, fried potatoes, macaroni can tomatoes, black eyed peas, cabbage and apple butter for the rolls that they dish out to you if you want them.  They toss hot rolls right from the pan to you.  It was a super fun environment!

McGuires was another fun place!  It was in Pensacola, FL.  It was an Irish style pub with that type of food.  The portions were HUGE and yummy.  They decor was also unique.  There were literally thousands of $1 bills hanging from the ceiling all over the entire restaurant.

We celebrated Molly's 15th birthday while there.  She got a couple new bikini's, a hat, a shirt and a new Stanley cup.  She was really happy!  Then we went to the convention center and competed for a few hours.  They placed first so that was another great present!  We took a break before the awards were announced and went to a place called Cinnaholic.  It was a gourmet cinnamon roll shop where you could customize your cinnamon roll.  Everything from the type of frosting to the toppings.  It was super yummy but my gosh SOOOO SWEET!  Then after the awards, we all went down to Pensacola Beach to take pictures before ending the night with a group of 28 of us to celebrate with a birthday dinner.  We ate at Flounders and it was DELICIOUS!  We had yummy seafood and sushi.  They had a live band playing there that night and cute Jaycee Lyman had them play happy birthday to Molly.  It was such a fun week with my Molly girl.  We both loved it!
