Las Chalitas Alumni Dinner

As part of Spanish Fork High School's Homecoming week, the Las Chalitas Drill Team hosted an alumni dinner before the game.  It was really fun to go with not only a bunch of my friends that I danced with in high school, but also my mom, mother in law, and nieces Katelyn, Averi and Gracie who were all Las Chalitas!

Homecoming Week

Homecoming week was full of events at our house!  The cheerleaders put up all the door signs for the football players, and of course they had more signs around the school too.  Then they had the Skyhawk Rally.  Only this was unlike any rally we've had in years past.  The students from each class who participated were volunteers rather than being selected.  It was held inside the gym instead of out on the football field.  The games were different but still fun.  Mark & Crystal Martin and Kevin & Patty Ashcraft came in from Vegas and California to stay with us.  Cade celebrated his big 18th birthday.  Sadly the letterman's jacket that we ordered months in advance was still not in - thank you stupid covid for STILL holding things up.  So we resorted to giving him some money and a couple shirts.  Grandma Gloria and Cade's girlfriend Halle came in clutch with fun gifts.  Then of course we had the Homecoming football game, which unfortunately we lost.  Then Cade and Halle went to the Homecoming dance.  We hosted the dinner at our house and it turned out perfect!

Back 2 School 🍎

Senior year and Freshman year have begun for these two kiddos!  Cade had to be to early morning football.  He threw on his football clothes, grabbed some toast and hustled out the door.  Thankfully Sidney happened to be pulling in as he was heading out.  She grabbed a super quick snapshot of him before he jumped in his truck.  Molly on the other hand had her outfit planned and prepped - from the jewelry to the shoes - for nearly 2 weeks.  She knew exactly how her makeup was going to be and what ring was going on what finger, haha!  She was ready with a pose that morning for her first day of school picture.  I then re-took some of the two together when school was over.  It was such a rainy day that the kids had it on their clothes.  But they still looked great!
