Cade Serving in NY

Elder Higginson has truly grown into being an incredible man. He has always been a disciple of Christ, his whole life through and I couldn't be more proud of him. He has gone from the far east side to about as far west as you can get in the state and served in between.
He has really made some amazing, lifelong friends and memories that he will always cherish.

He has made a real impact on the people of New York. Here is one clip from a text that I received from brother and sister Showalter. They are some members out there, who reached out to let us know how much they love him.
"Hey Jeff. I got to see my favorite missionary again. He looks great. I’m so proud of how much he has grown spiritually this past year since I seen him. You should be so proud of him. He’s the man here in Buffalo Stake now. Regards Roger Showalter"
The first picture is Cade with the Showalter's.

New Years

We hosted A semi formal New Year's dinner, and it was so fun! I made lobster tails and lobster claws, and Jen smoked the most delicious prime rib for us. Brad and Shannon brought shrimp along with a salad. Sidney a made a delicious salad too. Grandma Gloria brought rolls and grandma Julie brought ice cream and bananas for me to make Bananas Foster for dessert.
Alexandra's brother Austin came, as well as Halle, Cambrie and Canyon and Jordan Vance. We had so much fun! Sam and Summer Callister are in town for Christmas so they stopped by to say hi and see the baby.
Dinner was delicious. Then we played a few rounds of Left Center Right.
Me, Alexandra and Jack were all winners. We played one more round with everyone in the same group at the end of the night. Brad Hales threw in an extra hundred dollars. Austin was the big winner!  It was such a fun night.
