Big Jensy finally got a total hip replacement at the young age of 23. He got LeggCalvePerthes disease when he was 2 years old so we've been expecting this day to come since he was like 5 years old. His orthopedic at Primary Children's Hospital thought he would have to have it replaced by the time he was 15 so we're considering him lucky to have made it so long. The surgery went smoothly and he was in and out in about 1 &1/2 hours. They didn't even sedate him. Just a spinal! He did really well and has recovered great too. I'm glad he's out of the pain that he has dealt with his whole little life.
