With grandma Julie still on her mission, I hosted her Christmas party. We had salads, the most delicious soups and rolls, followed up by yummy hot fudge brownie sundaes. All the grandkids exchanged their gifts, we had our talent show, shared Christmas memories, and ended the night by playing Left Center Right.
When we were sharing the Christmas memories, Gracie said something that I thought was special. She talked about how fortunate everyone in our family is. Yes, we've all had really wonderful Christmases year after year together, but more importantly, we have the love of family. We love each other's company and love to be with each other whenever we get the chance. That is truly something to be celebrated. We really are blessed!
