Disneyland

For Christmas this year, we gave the kids a trip to Disneyland, but we didn't go until April. Now that the kids are all older and have adult jobs, we have to make sure that everyone is good with their work schedules, ha ha!

We flew out on a sunny, spring morning to Long Beach. We picked up the rental cars, had some delicious Mexican for lunch before making our way to hazy, misty Huntington Beach.  Jace LOVED the freezing cold waves and the sand.  He could have splashed and played for hours.  Then we went to our rental house and got settled before heading to Buca di Beppo for dinner.  We spent the next three days at California Adventure and Disneyland.  Jace was golden the whole time!  He loved every minute of everything, except for when it was time to get OFF the rides.  He wanted to go again and again!  But he quickly caught on that if we got off of one ride, that meant he got to get on a different one.  He's so smart and so observant of things.  He catches on so quickly.  He had every one of us doting on him and waiting on him hand and foot.  And happy to do it!  He's a delicious little dream.  We took one day and just enjoyed being at our rental house, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub and grilling some burgers on the grill.  It was such a fun week with the best memories made.
