NYC ๐ŸŽ

 Tuesday, July 8 - Saturday, July 12, 2025
For Molly's high school senior trip, I took her and her friend Aleeya Mickelson to New York. We had so much fun! We stayed at the Sheraton in Times Square. It was a perfect location because it was right in the middle of a lot of things we wanted to see. Since both Aleeya and I have been there multiple times, we let Molly choose all the sites.
When we arrive Tuesday night, we went straight to get pizza. We were all starving! And then I walked the girls around Times Square.
Wednesday we went to Rockefeller Center to the Top of the Rock.  Then went to Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, and ate some gelato before heading back to Times Square again, for more pizza, ha ha!
Thursday, we Took the subway to lower Manhattan to see the 911 museum/Ground Zero. Then we walked over to say Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. Then we took the ferry out around Staten Island so they could see the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Then we walked up to Canal Street and did a little purse shopping there! Then we took the subway back into Times Square and hurried to make our dinner reservation at Carmine's restaurant. It was so good but WAY too much food. I knew that it would be too much but I still had to take them there because we don't have a Carmines in Utah. We end of the night with more gelato!
Thursday, we went to the Natural History Museum. Wow, was it huge! It is literally two million square feet. We wandered around for hours and probably didn't even see 1/4 of it. After leaving the Natural History Museum, we went up to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Molly was dying to see the stairs at The Met!
After leaving the Matt, we walked down fifth Avenue to see all the fancy stores like Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Tiffany's, etc.   The Louis Vuitton store is awesome! It literally looks like suitcases stacked up.  Then we walked down to Los Tacos in Times Square for dinner so good!
Then Saturday morning, we flew home. Molly had the time of her life and honestly, so did I! I loved seeing her experience at all.
