Both the girls and boys basketball teams made it to state. We played our little hearts out and both teams ended up in the final championship game - at the same venue, UVU - back to back! It was a perfect scenario! The girls played first and easily won! It was really so awesome to see them win! The boys played immediately after and it was a battle right until the very bitter end but they won and both were named champions! It was a perfect way to end Sidney's high school cheering career. Both teams drove home to Stokes grocery, where the fire department, EMT's and police were there waiting for them. They unloaded the busses and hopped on the firetrucks. They then proceeded to parade them through town with lights and sirens blazing. The cheer team, boys and girls basketball teams, bus drivers, fire, police and EMT's and all the bystanders on the street watching. It was so fun to watch them experience!
These four cousins have had so much fun going to school together and WINNING together!
