This year for Christmas the kids each got the thing they wanted most.
Sidney got the Tablet she wanted.
Molly got the Cinderella doll that was "as tall as her".
Jens got the bats he wanted.
And Caden got the Pirates of the Caribbean ship and figurines that he so desperately wanted.
Then they got some pretty random stuff.......
Like swimsuits.....
Shorts - t shirts - & flip flops.....
My kids were thinking that it was pretty odd to get those types of things because it's -7 degrees outside!
Then they each got one last present to open. Each one got a box with something inside to read.
Molly's said: This year for Christmas, Mom and Dad wanted to do something really neat.
They thought and thought.....
Cade's said: Then they had an awesome idea! First they bought some swimsuits and flip flops for everyone. Then they bought some plane tickets for the whole family and booked a hotel in.....
Sidney's said: ..... in Maui, Hawaii! We will be staying at the Grand Wailea on Maui for 6 days! We leave on January 6th. ~Ocean~ swimming pools ~sand~ sun ~ pineapple drinks ~palm trees!~
Jens' said: Oh yeah, and the best part about it is that all the cousins will be coming with us! Dan & Suzi and their kids, Sam, Whitney and their family, Joel, Julie and their kids, Scott, Jessica and their family, Grandma and Grandpa!
They were so stinking excited! Sidney's reaction was by far the best. She could hardly stand the suspense of reading each paper. My eyes watered up as I watched my kids reaction. We are so fortunate to be able to give our kids such an amazing gift!
