Playing in the Highline Canal

After the canal had been drained, we stopped by to see if we could see any fish trying to live in the small, drying up puddles.

In all the puddles for a LONG ways, we only found 1 O N E fish!

Sidney could have cared less about finding fish.  She was more interested in having her pictures taken!

Marissa DID find a leech that she was pretty excited about.  Sidney was totally disgusted!!!

Molly found the best looking oak leaf ever!

Julia found a lot of moss.

I LOVED how the sun was coming through the trees.  It looked so pretty!

We  took the lonely fish down to Dean Wolf's pond to let it free.

Then we all had to stop to feed his horses and mules.

Then the sun started to set and it was such a beautiful sunset that I had to get some pictures of it!  I took each picture a couple minutes apart.

And  then it was gone.  The kids have had fun with their cousins now that they have moved back from Florida!
